Responsibilities:

• Diagnosis and Repair
• Senior AC technicians are responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with air conditioning and heating systems. This can involve troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration problems.
• Installation and Maintenance
• They may oversee the installation of new HVAC systems and perform routine maintenance on existing systems. This includes cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting various components to ensure proper functionality.
• System Upgrades
• Senior technicians may recommend and perform system upgrades or modifications to improve energy efficiency or meet changing needs.
• Refrigerant Handling
• Properly handling and disposing of refrigerants in accordance with environmental regulations is a crucial responsibility, especially given the transition to more eco-friendly refrigerants.
• Customer Communication
• They often interact with customers to explain repair options, provide estimates, and offer advice on maintenance practices.
• Supervision and Training
